Ethereum raises gas limit to 60M ahead of Fusaka upgrade

The Ethereum Foundation has raised the gas limit from 45 million to 60 million ahead of the upcoming Fusaka upgrade, The Block reported. Scheduled for late 2025, the Fusaka upgrade will follow the Pectra upgrade and aims to further enhance the network's scalability, efficiency, and decentralization.
