Martin Köppelmann, CEO of Ethereum infrastructure firm Gnosis (GNO), addressed Ethereum's developmental focus on his X account. He pointed to a long-standing divide between two perspectives: one viewing Ethereum as "money," where transaction capacity and fees are secondary, and another prioritizing Ethereum as a "world computer/ settlement layer," emphasizing transaction scalability and fee efficiency. Köppelmann advocated for prioritizing the latter, stating that focusing on scaling and addressing developers' needs would mark a pivotal moment for Ethereum's success.
