Mt. Gox transfers another $26.67M in BTC

Now-defunct crypto exchange Mt. Gox once again transferred 332 BTC ($26.67 million) to an anonymous address about half an hour ago, according to Onchain Lens on X. Earlier this morning, Mt. Gox also transferred 11,502 BTC ($905 million) to an anonymous address. The exchange has moved a total of 11,834 BTC ($931 million) over the past seven hours or so. Mt. Gox was hacked in 2014, resulting in the theft of 750,000 BTC in customer assets and 100,000 BTC in exchange assets. In 2021, a Japanese court approved the exchange's customer compensation plan. Mt. Gox intended to repay its creditors 142,000 BTC, 143,000 BCH and 69 billion Japanese yen.
