Altcoin Season Index falls to 20, down 5 points

CoinMarketCap's Altcoin Season Index has fallen five points from yesterday to 20. The index measures market sentiment by comparing the performance of the top 100 cryptocurrencies, excluding stablecoins and wrapped tokens, against Bitcoin over the last 90 days. An "altcoin season" is declared when 75% of these top 100 coins outperform Bitcoin during that period, while underperformance indicates a "Bitcoin season." A score closer to 100 suggests an altcoin season.
