Georgia signs MOU with Hedera to move real estate registry on-chain

Georgia's Ministry of Justice has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hedera (HBAR) to explore moving its national real estate registry system on-chain and tokenizing property, Cointelegraph reported. Authorities in Georgia are considering migrating data from the country's real estate registry agency to the Hedera blockchain. The plan also includes a review of tokenizing real estate as real-world assets (RWAs) to enhance liquidity.
