U.S. Sen. Cynthia Lummis said the CLARITY Act would close regulatory loopholes exploited by groups such as North Korea’s Lazarus hacking organization, according to Cointelegraph. Lummis said the bill would give the Treasury Department new authority to freeze suspicious transactions before funds are actually moved.
