Gold market cap jumps $1.65T in one day, nearing Bitcoin's total value

Gold's market capitalization surged by $1.65 trillion in a single day as the price of spot gold surpassed $5,500 an ounce, Cointelegraph reported. This daily increase is nearly equivalent to the entire market capitalization of Bitcoin, which stands at $1.75 trillion.
