This places him ahead of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, who is ranked 19th with a net worth of $108 billion. Zhao's rise in the rankings is attributed to a recovery in Binance's corporate valuation, which is currently estimated at around $100 billion. Zhao holds a 90% stake in the company.
