Binance CEO: AI agents surge to over 162K post-ERC-8004, BNB Chain leads

Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, said on X that the number of AI agents has surged from 337 to over 162,000 in a few months following the release of the new Ethereum standard, ERC-8004. He noted that ERC-8004 is expanding across 22 networks, with BNB Chain leading the way by hosting 33.5% of all registered AI agents. ERC-8004 is designed to allow autonomous AI agents to identify, transact with, and build reputations with each other in an on-chain environment without intermediaries.
