Brazil’s CVM sets up tokenization working group

Brazil’s Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) announced on its official website that it has established a tokenization working group, or GTT, to conduct research and develop regulations related to the registration, depository, custody, trading and settlement of securities on distributed ledger technology (DLT)-based infrastructure. The group’s initial term will run for 120 days and can be extended by an additional 30 days if needed.
