Bloomberg: BOJ open to additional rate hikes amid yen weakness

The Bank of Japan is internally open to raising its policy rate faster than expected as inflationary pressure grows with the yen’s weakness, Bloomberg reported. The BOJ previously raised its benchmark rate to 1% from 0.75% in June, the highest level since 1995.
