Zilliqa says hack was caused by flaw in Ledger app

Zilliqa said a critical flaw in the Ledger app exposed private keys used for ZIL transactions to recovery attacks. The project said it had temporarily suspended ZIL transactions while preparing a response, adding that EVM transactions were not affected by the flaw. Zilliqa had earlier said ZIL held in a cold wallet was stolen in a security incident at one of its partner exchanges.
