Crypto-backed super PAC spends $1M in Michigan Democratic primary

Fairshake, a Super PAC backed by the U.S. crypto industry, spent about $1 million in Michigan’s Democratic primary, Cointelegraph reported. The PAC ran ads supporting incumbent Rep. Shri Thanedar and criticizing challenger Donavan McKinney. Thanedar voted in favor of major crypto bills in the House, including the CLARITY Act and the GENIUS Act.
