Coinbase CPO to step down on Aug. 17

Coinbase announced Chief People Officer Lawrence Brock will step down on Aug. 17, according to BeInCrypto. Brock is expected to remain in an advisory role at Coinbase through Nov. 30. The reason for the departure was not disclosed. In May, Coinbase announced plans to cut 14% of its workforce, and Brock was known to have led that restructuring as well as the 2022 hiring freeze and the withdrawal of job offers.
