Solana memecoin CATE market cap surged 230x yesterday, then eased

According to GMGN data, the market capitalization of Solana-based memecoin CATE at one point jumped 230-fold from the previous day to top $9.5 million, but has since given back part of those gains and fallen to about $7.09 million. CATE is a memecoin inspired by an X post from @kabosumama, the owner of Kabosu, the Shiba Inu that inspired Dogecoin (DOGE), sharing a video featuring a kitten.
