eole buys HYPE, plans to raise investment to $670K by end of August

Japanese listed AI data center company eole said it bought ¥10 million ($67,000) worth of HYPE and plans to raise the total investment to ¥100 million ($670,000) by the end of August. The company said the purchase marks the first HYPE acquisition by a Japanese listed company. Under its “Neo Crypto Bank” initiative, a vision for next-generation financial infrastructure, eole added HYPE alongside Bitcoin as a strategic asset. The company said Hyperliquid, a layer-one blockchain, is well suited for trading by autonomous AI agents and described the purchase as part of building on-chain financial infrastructure rather than seeking short-term trading gains.
