Block Bitkey lead says Coldcard flaw affects models beyond Mk3

Max Guise, who leads development of Block’s Bitcoin wallet Bitkey, said a seed-generation vulnerability in Coinkite’s Coldcard hardware wallets affects not only the previously identified Mk3 model but also the Mk2, Mk4, Q and Mk5. In a post on X, Guise warned, "다만 모델별로 취약한 정도는 다르다. 탈취 공격이 현재도 진행 중일 가능성이 크고 추가 지갑이 탈취될 우려가 있다. 이들 기기에서 만든 복구 문구를 다른 지갑으로 옮기더라도 리스크는 그대로 남아있다. 단일 서명 지갑뿐 아니라 추측하기 쉬운 추가 암호를 쓰거나 두 개 이상의 키 생성 과정에 취약점이 있는 다중 서명 지갑도 공격 대상이 될 수 있다" He added Block products, including Bitkey, were not affected and said the findings had been shared with Coinkite.
