BTC posts 1.12% average return in August since 2013

Bitcoin has posted an average August return of 1.12% since 2013, closing the month lower nine times and higher four times. The median return for the month stands at -7.49%. Bitcoin’s biggest August gain on record was 65.32% in August 2017, while its steepest August decline was -18.67% in August 2015. BTC posted a 7.51% monthly return in July.
