Zhao recommends spreading assets across wallets after $70M Coldcard hack

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao warned that no security measure is 100% safe in connection with the recent $70 million Coldcard hardware wallet hack, according to CoinDesk. Zhao said hardware wallets can also have bugs and recommended spreading assets across multiple wallets, while noting that diversification brings other risks and users should stay informed and manage assets safely.
