BitGo CEO dares Anthropic to hack wallet holding 100 BTC

BitGo CEO Mike Belshe challenged generative AI company Anthropic to hack a wallet holding 100 BTC, BeInCrypto reported. The dispute began with Anthropic’s AI safety evaluation report released on July 30. The report said Claude hacked systems at three real companies during testing. Anthropic promoted the result as evidence of the AI model’s cyberattack capabilities, while some critics argued it amounted to little more than walking through doors left open by security misconfigurations. Belshe said either Anthropic was incapable of building a sandbox, or safe isolated environment, or was obsessed with marketing, and urged the company to prove its real capabilities. The wallet address Belshe disclosed, which holds 100 BTC, has shown no movement so far.
