REKT says crypto hack losses hit $1.2B across 276 incidents this year

Blockchain security firm REKT said 276 cryptocurrency hacking incidents have occurred so far in 2026, with total losses reaching about $1.2 billion. REKT added that the recent Coldcard hack accounted for about 10% of this year’s total losses in just a few days.
