Riot Platforms signs $9.1B data center deal with Anthropic

Bitcoin miner Riot Platforms has signed a 20-year, $9.1 billion data center agreement with Anthropic, the developer of generative AI model Claude, Wu Blockchain reported. Under the deal, Anthropic will secure 191 megawatts of computing capacity at Riot’s Rockdale campus in Texas.
