LG CNS plans September launch of new blockchain service targeting stablecoins

LG CNS plans to launch a new blockchain service in September aimed at the stablecoin ecosystem as it prepares for growth in the stablecoin and virtual asset, or digital asset, markets, Digital Asset reported. At the Injective Institutional Luncheon Forum held at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul, Lee Jeong-hwa, head of blockchain at LG CNS, said the company plans to launch the separately branded service in September, covering wallets, transaction processing, fee sponsorship, and blockchain data management. LG CNS sees wallets as core infrastructure in the stablecoin ecosystem. Lee added the company expects wallets and on- and off-ramps linking users with financial services to become a key competitive area as stablecoin adoption expands.
