Coinbase to launch crypto derivatives for UK professional investors

Coinbase plans to launch cryptocurrency derivatives for professional investors in the UK, including perpetual futures, fixed-maturity futures and crypto options, The Block reported. The services will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks and will support more than 170 contracts across cryptocurrencies, commodities, equities and foreign exchange. Perpetual futures will offer 24-hour trading and leverage of up to 50x, while fixed-maturity futures will offer leverage of up to 20x. Options will be limited to cryptocurrencies and will support call, put and multi-leg strategy trading.
