August 14, 2026, 11:38 AM
Major financial institutions including Morgan Stanley and Bank of Montreal disclosed second-quarter holdings of XRP ETFs, though XRP has continued to decline in price, according to U.Today. The outlet said Morgan Stanley holds tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of ETFs including Franklin XRPZ, Rex Osprey XRPR and Bitwise XRP. It added that Bank of Montreal, one of Canada’s largest banks, and Militia Capital Management also disclosed holdings in XRP ETFs. U.Today said XRP has still failed to escape its downtrend despite broader institutional adoption and ETF inflows, with the token down about 46% this year and underperforming Bitcoin by around 31%.
