Cosmostation to shut down wallet service on Sept. 1

Cosmostation, a wallet in the Cosmos (ATOM) ecosystem, announced it will shut down its service on Sept. 1, according to the company. After the shutdown, only the "recovery phrase export" and "private key export" functions will remain available, while all other features will be phased out. Cosmostation said that as a non-custodial wallet, user assets will remain stored on each blockchain. Users can move to another compatible wallet using a recovery phrase or private key, it said, adding that users are advised to securely back up their recovery phrase and private key before Sept. 1.
