Bitcoin RSI nears 86, enters strongest overbought zone in nearly two years

Bitcoin’s relative strength index, or RSI, has climbed to 84-86, pushing BTC into its strongest overbought zone in nearly two years since November 2024. After breaking out of its recent $62,000-$71,000 range, BTC surged as much as 12% in one to two days and at one point came close to $80,000. More than $3 billion in short positions were liquidated over 24 hours during the move, accelerating the rally.
