Weekly crypto volume hits $37B after doubling in 5 days

Weekly cryptocurrency trading volume doubled in five days last week to reach $37 billion, according to The Block Data. The media outlet said the figure still remained well below the 12-month high of $105 billion recorded just after the crypto selloff began on Oct. 10 last year. On a monthly basis, August trading volume so far stands at $490 billion, down from $670 billion in July. The outlet noted, "주목할 점은 현물 ETF의 등장으로 이번 사이클은 과거처럼 암호화폐에 대한 투자 수요가 전부 중앙거래소(CEX)로 몰리지 않았다는 것이다." It added, "그러나 대다수의 알트코인 수요는 계속해 CEX로 유입될 가능성이 높다."
