SEC approves options trading on WisdomTree spot Bitcoin ETF

The U.S. SEC has approved a rule change allowing Cboe to support options trading on WisdomTree’s spot Bitcoin ETF, BTCW, NewsBTC reported. The approval applies to options tied to the ETF as the underlying asset, not to BTCW itself, allowing investors to use BTCW options for hedging, volatility trading and other investment strategies.
