Robinhood Chain daily gas fees jump 82-fold in 11 days, highest among blockchains

Robinhood Chain’s daily gas fees reached $4.45 million on Sept. 2, up 82-fold from $54,254 on Aug. 22, The Defiant reported, citing DefiLlama data. The figure was higher than the combined gas fees of Ethereum, Solana, and Tron. The rise was attributed to a sharp increase in the network’s base fee amid active memecoin issuance and trading. Robinhood is covering gas fees for swap users on its wallet app through Sept. 29.
