Bitcoin hard fork BTCB2 hit $1,799 before sharp drop

BTCB2, a Bitcoin hard-fork asset, fell sharply after hitting a high of $1,799 on Sept. 5, according to local-time market data. The token traded between $750 and $1,000 for about four hours, while 24-hour volume reached $1 million on Neoexa, where BTCB2 is listed. Based on a BTCB2 price of $1,000, the asset’s fully diluted valuation stands at $20.9 billion. BTCB2 was created through a chain split at Bitcoin block height 961,632 on Aug. 8, 2026. It later changed its proof-of-work algorithm to Blake2, reduced its block size, and can currently be mined with Blake2-compatible ASIC miners. The asset is listed on Neoexa and Nonkyc.io.
