The Ethereum Foundation’s Protocol Cluster has released its evaluation and roadmap for 62 EIPs proposed for the next Hegotá upgrade. In the review, the foundation gave EIP-7805, a proposal focused on censorship resistance, and EIP-8141, which relates to framed transactions and account abstraction, an "S-tier" rating, meaning they should be included in the upgrade.
Another 15 proposals received an "A-tier" rating, indicating they are expected to be included, while 28 proposals were rejected. The Protocol Cluster also set a research goal of making Ethereum’s layer 1 broadly quantum-resistant by December 2029. Its main research areas include improving transaction finality speed, strengthening privacy, quantum-resistant security, state management and zkEVM.
