Rollup host claims SEC approved tokenized fund for major asset manager
September 08, 2026, 5:40 AM
The Rollup host Andy claimed, citing a source, that the U.S. SEC has approved fund tokenization for a major asset manager. Fidelity, ARK Invest, and BlackRock are seen as possible candidates.
The firm could issue and trade fund interests themselves as onchain tokens, while also supporting transactions linked to the underlying assets. Andy said the information recently obtained was more specific than before and argued the rumor was likely true. No official announcement has yet been made by the SEC or the asset manager involved.
