Cronos says $9.19M stolen in hack has not been recovered

Layer-1 blockchain Cronos said about $9.19 million stolen in the Aug. 30 exploit has not been recovered so far. According to The Block, Cronos said the hacker manipulated collateral on lending protocol Tectonic to borrow $120.4 million, after which validators halted the network at block 90,907,150. Through a rollback, about $111.2 million in affected funds was restored to its pre-attack state. However, $9.19 million, or 7.6% of the total losses, had already left the network before the halt and was not included in the recovery.
