Starknet launches Shieldnet privacy system for 45 ERC-20 tokens

Starknet, Ethereum’s layer-two scaling solution, has launched Shieldnet, a new ZK-Proof-based private transaction system built on the STRK20 framework, adding privacy features for a total of 45 ERC-20 tokens, Crypto Briefing reported. The system fully hides transaction details from external view, including senders, recipients, and transfer amounts, according to the report. Shieldnet uses an encrypted viewing key system that allows users to share the relevant key with authorities or other parties when needed, enabling selective disclosure of specific transaction records while supporting both privacy protection and regulatory compliance.
