Media outlet sees ETH at a crossroads below $2.5K

Ethereum has staged an almost vertical rebound from a $1,500 low, but it is now trading below $2,500, where the technical outlook points to both further gains and a potential pullback, CryptoPotato analyzed.
The outlet said ETH has repeatedly failed to break above the top of its range near $2,500. Exchange reserves have continued to decline, reducing the amount potentially available for selling, while the technical setup still leaves room for both upside and downside, according to the analysis. It added that holding above $2,100, a key daily support level, could keep the broader uptrend intact. At the same time, the relative strength index has fallen below overbought territory, signaling the possibility of sideways trading and a deeper correction before fresh buying emerges. On the four-hour chart, repeated selling near the top of the range remains clear, while buyers have continued to defend the lower end of the range. A break above $2,500 could strengthen the case for a continued uptrend, while a move below $2,400 could turn the current consolidation into a deeper correction.
