Ripple CLO urges senators to hear from crypto holders before Clarity Act vote

Ripple Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty said he asked Senate offices representing lawmakers opposed to the Clarity Act or still undecided to meet directly with actual U.S. cryptocurrency holders before the vote. In a post on X, Alderoty said he personally conveyed the request to Senate offices, adding the meetings should involve ordinary people who hold crypto and have their own stories, rather than lobbyists or industry executives. He said about 67 million people in the U.S. currently hold cryptocurrency and should have a chance to make their voices heard because they will be affected by the vote.
