Amar Kuchinad, CEO of cryptocurrency custody firm Copper, has stepped down, CoinDesk reported. Copper’s search for a buyer has now stretched into a fourth month.
Cantor Fitzgerald was selected to oversee the sale, with an asking price of $500 million. But actual acquisition offers were running at around $200 million, according to a report last month, far below the more than $2 billion valuation Copper had once received.
