Crypto hacks and exploits have resulted in 333 incidents this year, with a total of $1.73 billion stolen, The Block reported, citing data from TRM Labs.
Of that amount, the recent hack of Bitcoin layer-two sidechain Liquid Network was the largest this year at $319 million. The attacker returned about 85% of the stolen funds, but still holds around $47 million. TRM Labs has identified the attacker’s address and is tracking the remaining funds.
