CoinEx to begin phased shutdown from Sept. 15

Crypto exchange CoinEx announced on its official website it will suspend operations and begin a phased business shutdown process on Sept. 15. CoinEx said the move reflects a prolonged downturn in the cryptocurrency market, an industry-wide decline in trading volume and liquidity, and steadily rising regulatory requirements and compliance costs. Withdrawal services will remain available through Dec. 22, after which the CoinEx trading platform will officially close.
