DOJ charges 2 Robinhood engineers over token-listing insider trading

Two former Robinhood engineers have been charged by the U.S. Department of Justice with cryptocurrency insider trading, according to U.S. prosecutors.
Prosecutors said the two obtained nonpublic information in advance about Robinhood token listings and used it to build positions early in perpetual futures tied to those tokens on decentralized derivatives exchange Hyperliquid, reaping illicit gains.
