Wintermute trims some short positions after Senate procedural vote on Clarity bill fails

Crypto market maker and trading firm Wintermute appears to have closed part of its short positions and locked in profits after a U.S. Senate procedural vote on the Clarity bill failed, according to Onchain Lens. Onchain Lens said Wintermute’s total short exposure fell to $55.54 million from $102.1 million, while unrealized profit rose to about $2.28 million from roughly $928,000. Its ETH short position also shrank to 7,810 ETH ($18.72 million) from 15,330 ETH ($38.47 million).
