Raoul Pal says BTC is a stronger long-term hedge than gold

Real Vision co-founder Raoul Pal said in an interview on the Wolf Financial Show that Bitcoin is a much stronger long-term hedge against currency debasement than gold. Pal said the purchasing power of fiat currencies worldwide is declining by about 8% a year as central banks expand money supply, while average annual wage growth is only about 3%, steadily eroding the public’s real purchasing power. He added that only crypto and tech stocks have outpaced the rate of currency debasement, while traditional assets such as gold and real estate have only managed to preserve value against it. Pal said gold has already reached a mature stage and has limitations, whereas Bitcoin has the same scarcity as gold but remains in an "Earlier Adoption Stage," giving it much greater upside potential.
