Underdog sues Connecticut over treatment of sports contracts as illegal gambling

Underdog has filed a lawsuit in federal court against Connecticut authorities to block them from treating the company’s sports event-related contracts as illegal gambling, The Block reported. The move follows cease-and-desist orders Connecticut issued last week to nine prediction market platforms, including Underdog, Polymarket, Coinbase and Robinhood.
