Masked men in France allegedly hold crypto worker’s family, force €40K transfer

Four masked men in Pas-de-Calais in northern France allegedly broke into the home of an IT specialist working in the cryptocurrency industry, held the family for more than three hours, and forced the transfer of €40,000 ($44,800) in crypto, BeInCrypto reported. The assailants tied up the victim, the victim’s spouse and their two children with tape, and one of the children was struck in the face with a car key, according to the report. Local police are tracking the suspects, and no arrests have been made.
