A Visa survey found 56% of U.S. consumers would be willing to use stablecoins if they were offered with bank-level fraud protection and deposit insurance, up from a baseline of 36%.
Willingness to use stablecoins also rose to 45% if the service were offered through existing financial institutions, according to the survey. Meanwhile, 64% of respondents said trust in the payment service provider mattered more than the technology itself, while 56% said they had never heard of stablecoins.
