Blockaid flags apparent hack on BNB Chain-based Meter Passport

BNB Chain-based Meter Passport is under attack, blockchain security firm Blockaid said. The attacker has been minting large amounts of unbacked wrapped tokens, wMTRG, through a cross-chain channel and has already sold part of them on PancakeSwap. So far, about $2.3 million worth of wMTRG has been minted across two transactions, and the attack is ongoing, according to Blockaid.
