SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce to step down on Oct. 2

U.S. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, known for her crypto-friendly stance and nicknamed 'Crypto Mom,' will step down on Oct. 2, crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett reported. After nearly nine years at the SEC, Peirce is set to join Regent University School of Law as an associate professor in November.
