Crypto super PAC spends $11.4M in Ohio Senate race

Crypto industry super PAC Defend American Jobs has spent $11.4 million on ads backing Republican Jon Husted and opposing Democrat Sherrod Brown in Ohio’s U.S. Senate race, according to a filing with the U.S. Federal Election Commission cited by Cointelegraph. Defend American Jobs is affiliated with Fairshake, Cointelegraph reported. Fairshake had previously said it planned to commit an initial $30 million to the election. Brown previously served as chairman of the Senate Banking Committee and has been critical of major crypto legislation in Congress.
