Bulgaria’s Fibank to offer Bitpanda crypto trading in mobile app

Bulgaria’s First Investment Bank, or Fibank, said on Oct. 12 it has partnered with European crypto exchange Bitpanda and plans to offer Bitpanda’s cryptocurrency trading services through its My Fibank mobile app. According to Fibank, this marks the first time a Bulgarian bank will provide crypto trading services to customers through a mobile app. The bank added that, unlike deposits, cryptocurrencies are not covered by depositor protection or compensation schemes.
